About Mr. Zsolt Szabó

2007-; Capgemini The Netherlands B.V. Vice President Public Sector.

Responsible for strategic business development, relationship with the government and parliament, media relations and sales support. Since 2007 Capgemini gained a strong business position in the field of mobility in The Netherlands. Furthermore, it also strengthened its position significantly on a strategic advisory level within Dutch ministries as well as the European Commission. Today Zsolt Szabo is chairing the committee for Dutch government on the implementation of eRecognition based on the UID principles.

2003-2006; Dutch Parliament. Member of the House of Representatives.

As a Member of Parliament speaker for the Dutch Peoples Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) on Defence, Development Cooperation and Information & Communication Technology. A report has been published by Zsolt Szabo in 2003 on a new information architecture for Dutch ministries and municipalities. Today this architecture is used by Dutch government to modernise the IT for public services. Zsolt Szabo, as the speaker in the House, also has been involved in establishing the law and regulations for the UID in The Netherlands.
