About Mr. Amir Arooni

Amir Arooni (1964) has around 18 years experience in delivering IT projects for Telecom, Post & Transport and financial institutions. Before starting to work for ING, Amir worked for several multinational companies such as: KPN, TPG, Sun Microsystems and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young as project manager and IT/Operations manager.

Amir started to work for ING Netherlands early 2000 as a project manager(Business Process Redesign). After a year he decides to join the management teams: management of the of IT-delivery centres for ING Investment Management, ING Retail Securities, ING Group Finance, Retail Marketing&Sales Support. Amir is currently Senior Executive Vice President for Solution Delivey Center Channles (IT solutions for ING Retail Internet, Call, Mail, Branches, Sales Forces and Marketing). Amir is member of Management Team ING OIB Retail Banking Benelux.

Amir is a member of the CIO Platform in the Netherlands and holds a degree in Finance, IT and currently an MBA from the Erasmus University in the Netherlands.
