About Mr. Maurice van Tilburg

Maurice van Tilburg has experience in restructuring and improving operational, technology and audit services, processes and systems. After leading several services for Euroclear and NYSE Euronext, currently Maurice is heading operational and project teams for the Cash Markets of NYSE Euronext in Europe.

NYSE Euronext (NYX) is a leading global operator of financial markets and provider of innovative trading technologies. The company's exchanges in Europe and the United States trade equities, futures, options, fixed-income and exchange-traded products. The company offers comprehensive commercial technology, connectivity and market data products and services through NYSE Technologies.

My main objective in leading my teams is to create a clear image of the future services to customers and then align all talents and technology to reach the best possible result. We generally try to find practical elements from quality management, methodology, psychology and innovation to obtain a holistic approach and a successful re-engineering of services, processes and technology.

Technology and innovation is at the heart of what we do. We have recently announced the launch of our new state-of-the-art European Liquidity Data Center facility which will house all of NYSE Euronext's European markets and also includes a next generation co-location service for trading firms. This data centre will leverage the latest advancements in design and efficiency to create one of the most resilient, high-capacity and low-latency facilities in the world.
