About Ms. Marie Munk
Ms. Marie Munk has been the Deputy Director General of the Danish National IT and Telecom Agency since 2006. Ms. Munk is responsible for the policy implementation specific to the IT branch of the agency, covering areas as eGovernment, eInclusion, digitisation and ICT standardisation as well and ICT security and green ICT.
From 2003 until 2006 she was Head of Division of the Department of Administration and IT, Local Government Denmark, where she worked primarily with eGovernment. Before that she was the project manager of the eGovernment "Digital Task Force" in the Ministry of Finance. She also served as Principal Private Secretary for the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance.
Ms. Munk holds diplomas in Economics from the University of Copenhagen and in European Economic Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges.
