About Mr. Jan Hadders

Jan Hadders is president of Dacom B.V. His main responsibility is the implementation of intelligent sensor systems in crop production around the world. Jan received his agronomical education in the Netherlands. After a period in Canada he emigrated back to the Netherlands to take over the family farm. During the farming period he served on the board of different agricultural corporations. As a practical grower, he recognized the need of the agricultural market to make use of the upcoming automation. In 1987 he established Dacom B.V.

His vision was to provide a comprehensive real time advice for complex pest- and irrigation control problems. This advice is based on the combination of sensor systems, scientific knowledge, information technology and crop information. The produced information will help the farmer to implement a sustainable crop production by reducing the pesticide and water input while increasing his yields. As a result, Dacom is currently active in countries around the world.
