About Mrs. Marie-Beatrice Levaux

Born in 1956, Cambrai, France. Graduated from the University of Paris XIII in 1978 (Master in Sciences and Techniques of Human Resources) and from Paris-Dauphine University in 1980 (DESS in Psycho-Sociology of Organisations), Marie Béatrice Levaux has been President of FEPEM since 2002.

From 1981 until 1987, she worked as a Consultant in Human Resources and Management at the training facility of the National Federation of French Mutual Assurers.

In 1987, Marie Béatrice Levaux co-founded "Cabinet Synthèse Action", a human resources consulting firm, and worked as Associate Consultant in charge of "Recruitment and development of potentials". On her initiative, the firm has developed a specialized HR Health department since 1999.

At the same time, Marie Béatrice Levaux has been strongly committed to FEPEM's activities:

Since 1994 : she has been member of FEPEM's Lower Normandy regional group,
In 1999 : she got member of the FEPEM's National Administrative Board,
In 2000 : she was appointed to the Board of Directors of FEPEM,
In 2002 : she was elected President of FEPEM by the National Administrative Board.

Marie Béatrice Levaux also founded the Institute FEPEM of Household Employment (IFEF) in 1995, which she chaired since its creation until 2000. She is since acting as General Delegate of the IFEF.
As President of FEPEM, Marie Béatrice Levaux is:
- Member of the Administrative Board of the National Agency for Lifestyle and Home Care Services (ANSP),
- Member of the Supervisory Board of the Central Agency for Social Security Organizations (ACOSS),
- Member of the Committee for the Prevention of and Fight against Ill-Treatment of Older People,
- Member of the French Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE),
- Member of the High Family Council (HCF),
- Member of the National Council of Disabled Persons (CNCPH),
- Member of the Budgetary Commission on Services within the National Economic Commission.

Marie Béatrice Levaux has written several books, such as "Particulier-employeur, managez au quotidien votre salarié à domicile" (Being Household Employer, Managing your domestic employee in the everyday life), published at Vuibert Editions in 2007; and the "Guide Pratique de l'Emploi Familial" (Pratical Guide to Family Employment), First Editions, 1994.

Marie Béatrice Levaux has been awarded the national decorations "Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur" and "Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite".
