About Mr. Jacques Bus

Jacques Bus, is born in the Netherlands and received his PhD in mathematics in Amsterdam. He worked at the Centre For Mathematics and Computer Science (CWI) for about 15 years. He joined the European Commission and worked in various parts of the ICT Research programme. From March 2004 he was head of Unit ICT Trust and Security, including security of networks, services, infrastructures, Identity, privacy and trust.
Jacques left the Commission on 31 March 2010 and works now as an independent consultant in the area of Trustworthy ICT and the Internet.
