About Mr. Ivan van de Wolf

Mr. van der Wolf is the managing director of Portbase, the Port Community System of the Dutch ports. Portbase aims to connect, integrate information flows and provide value for all relevant players in the logistics chains trough the Dutch ports. The shareholders of Portbase are the Port of Rotterdam and the Port of Amsterdam.

Before working for Portbase, Mr. van der Wolf was managing director of Port infolink, the Port Community System of Rotterdam. Before joining Port infolink, Mr. van der Wolf worked for 7 years as a senior management consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers - Management Consultants, Brussels - Belgium. He was active in the service group Strategic Change and a member of the Global Centre of Excellence in Waterborne Transport & Airport Management. During this period he advised numerous ports, airports and national governments on port management & development and privatisation issues. Besides, he assisted multi national corporations in their corporate location strategy for manufacturing, distribution and shared services activities.
