About Mr. Paul Budde
Paul Budde is the managing director of Paul Budde Communication, a global independent communications and digital economy research and consultancy company. They produce 2,000 research reports covering 170 countries, 400 companies and 200 technologies and applications.
Paul is frequently interviewed on radio and television, as well as by the leading national and international financial and business press.
He plays a leading role in strategic national infrastructure developments:
Works with the Australian Government on the National Broadband Network and the Smart Grid/Smart City project.
Led a team of experts advising the Obama Transition Team on new telecoms policies.
Provided similar advice to the New Zealand Government.
Wrote a report on trans-sector innovations for the Dutch Government
Assists the ITU/UNESCO Broadband Commission for Digital Development with policy and strategy advice on trans-sector/national purpose developments including smart grids.
Paul is the initiator and founder of Smart Grid Australia. He has been working with the electricity utilities since 2001.
