About Mr. Cyro Vicente Boccuzzi

Cyro Vicente Boccuzzi is the CEO and partner of ECOee - Expertise, Consultants and Ordination for Energy Efficiency, a Consultant Company focused on Energy Management and Technology (www.ecoee.com.br), with emphasis in smart grids, automation, metering and small size dispersed generation. Cyro also founded and became President of The Smart Grid Latin American Forum, to promote and discuss these technologies ( www.smartgrid.com.br ).

Before ECOee, Cyro worked for 25 years at AES Eletropaulo, the largest Distribution Electricity Company of Brazil, serving more than 17 million people through 6 million connections in São Paulo City and vicinity. Cyro reached the position of Vice-President of AES from 2001 to 2007, having responsibilities over Distribution, Engineering, Operations, Planning, Environment, Safety, Health and Technology.

After leaving AES and in parallel with his duties at ECOee, Cyro was also the Executive Director of Andrade & Canellas, a Brazilian Owner's Engineering and Consultant Company, from February 2008 to June 2009.

Cyro is a senior member of IEEE and holds a Controller MBA from University of São Paulo, a Business Administration Post Graduation degree from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Mackenzie.
