About Mr. Chris Buijink

Chris Buijink (16-03-1954) studied Political Science at the University of Amsterdam and worked there as a junior-assistant at the Europe Institute. In 1980 he entered the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Before being appointed Secretary-general by the new cabinet in February 2007, he served the ministry in several positions a.o. director-general of Enterprise and innovation, deputy director-general of Foreign Economic Relations and Managing Director of Senter, the implementing agency for innovation and sustainable development.
