WCIT 2010

Our ability to participate in any real or digital community of interests we choose, confronts us with questions on how to ensure the long-term social cohesion of societies. And, above all, how can we ensure that all can equally profit from the new challenges and opportunities that arise? These are some of the challenges of transformation that are not limited to borders and regions but must be answered on a global scale. WCIT 2010 provides the opportunity for such reflection, and -above all- for recommendations and policies to ensure that such changes result in new opportunities for all.

Through panel discussions, breakout sessions and an extensive social program, the WCIT delegates will be stimulated to exchange their views on the specific conditions for guaranteeing positive effects of change for all. Their challenge is to determine the new goals for our new future of accelerated change: The WCIT Declaration of Amsterdam.
