  Workshop: The Dutch Approach for ICT and Energy Efficiency: From Mindshifts via Methods to Measures

  The Netherlands are widely known for their worldwide export of products like tulips, cheese and dance music. From an ICT for Energy Efficiency (ICT4EE) perspective a unique Dutch approach is presented on WCIT. The name of this approach is Long Term Agreement on Energy efficiency 'LTA' or 'MJA' in Dutch. This Agreement is between public and private partners both working on sharing knowledge, implementing efficiency measures and monitoring the results transparently. The Agreement aligns with the Dutch government climate goals. In this workshop we will take the audience on an ICT4EE-Trip starting with the necessary Mindshifts, via a proven Method based on Plan-Do-Check-Act, resulting in tangible actions and Measures that reduce energy consumption and improve efficiency.
