eGovernment: Improved
Laying down tracks: a new decade with new infrastructural challenges
E106+E107
14:00 - 15:30 hrs.Around 1860 there were more than 20 different rail gauge standards in USA - and in Europe most countries had rail gauges of their own. This lack of interoperability between rail tracks was significantly hampering the ability to drive growth and prosperity among nations in the 19th Century. Now here in the 21st Century we experience a similar challenge in laying down tracks for the digital age. Over 90 minutes thoughtleaders will discuss how decisions today will impact solutions of tomorrow. The discussion and presentations together with the audience's written feedback, will be summarized in a post-report emailed to all participants.
